The Substance Use Support program at Operation Come Home offers at risk and street involved youth between the ages of 16-29 with support services.  The Substance Use Support staff will assist youth in the development of an individualized goal plan that will address the various aspects of their substance use. This service operates under a harm reduction framework and thus will support youth with their substance use/abuse goals. The harm reduction methodology may include supports such as: accompaniment to appointments; the ability to gain access to treatment and harm reduction supplies; harm education; and other community referrals. In addition, the Substance Use Support staff can make referrals to internal and external community resources such as employment and housing supports, completion of high school and much more.
