Rotary Club of Ottawa: Partners in achievement

As we continue the focus on the gift of gratitude, I would like to express the gratitude Operation Come Home has for the Rotary Club of Ottawa.

Kateri Clark, President of the Rotary Club of Ottawa, was excited to share that the 2018-2019 Rotary International theme is “Be the Inspiration”. She absolutely loves that theme because Rotary truly inspires change – in ourselves, our community and throughout the world. This year she challenged the Ottawa Club to Innovate, Advocate and Collaborate.  Rotary is seen as a resource for local organizations in need of support and their clubs have a focus on the development of young leaders in Canada.

As we look at the work of the Rotary Club of Ottawa through a lens of Gratitude, it is easy to see their goal of inspiring youth is demonstrated through their gift to Operation Come Home and the  John Bosco Achievement Centre.  The Rotary Club of Ottawa has been a long time supporter of the education centre here at Operation Come Home.

Operation Come Home believes that the only ways of breaking the cycle of poverty is through education and employment.
